The Retreat is home to many rare animals and plants. There is a deep granite gorge along the 1 Kilometre length of the property, with a permanent creek that has several platypus, spectacular waterfalls, plus waterholes to swim in.

You can bring your dog along for a holiday too. Our 1.5 acre cottage yard is fully fenced to keep them and the wildlife safe and sound. We request that dogs remain outside the house in the warmer months, where there is a kennel for sleeping. In the colder months doggies can sleep inside in the bathroom only, and on their own bedding.
